Well,
We had a pretty good start to our season.
Out first game was against the Fairfax Stars, sadly we were defeated 47-41. But after being down by 15 pts in the first half we staged a furious comeback and were actually down by 1 pt in the last few minutes of the game.
Our girls played hard but we simply couldn't close the deal.
In our second game we played Fencor out of Philly. Once again we dug ourselves an early hole by only scoring nine points in the first half and being down by 14 pts going into intermission.
We staged another comeback and won the game by one point on a last second shot by Brittany Murray.

Our next tournament will be this weekend at the Under Armour Charm City shootout in Baltimore.

I would like to say that the showing by the Hoop Magic team was impressive. Yes, you were down, but as you have seen so many times in games you have watched; it is always possible to stage a come back.
This team has a tremendous upside and it is going to be fun to watch them grow.
The second game shows what can and will happen if you stay in the fight. Hoop Magic won the game!!
This is the beginning of what should prove to be a positive (and winning) basketball expereince.
